Okay, that makes sense now, I was wondering….

I went ahead and added all the different widgets like you said (worked perfectly thanks!), the only thing is when they display the have a transparent background, (so that my main body background…the blue becomes the background. I’d much rather have them with a white background, so I went through the sidebar css adding

color: #ffffff;

To various data, but none of them seemed to work….so is the widget colors somewhere else, or am I stuck with what ever background I use for my main body?

Thanks for any insight, the widgets are working just fine, I just want to make the colors more attractive ??

Thanks eexlebots for the step by step tutorial, I followed it and it works great! I’m so excited that it’s working again.

Lugarza- Are you looking at PHPMYADMIN in Firefox? If so Try IE, it’s blank for me in Firefox, but works in IE. Perhaps that will work?

Thanks for the instructions! I forgot how easy things are with WordPress 2.5! I am still having issues though?

When I added the Recent Posts widget, to the left side, it displays on the site but none of the other stuff is displaying on the sidebar?

So it seems like it’s displaying it, but for some reason it won’t integrate with the other information that I have in my sidebar.

Is that what you meant by if my theme doesn’t have a widgetized sidebar, or is something else going on here?

Hmmm? anyone? It’s so strange

Hmmm? Thats weird, yesterday they wern’t working, and now this morning they’re doing just fine…perhaps I needed to wait a minute or something for them to register the changes I made!

Oh, I am sooooo excited! Thank you SOOOO much for helping me fix this!

Hmmm? Okay I went through the

wp-config.php
functions.php file

and all plugins

I erased the ?> and any blank lines that were at the end.

Still not working?

Any guesses as to what’s going on?

I’ve got 6 comments that aren’t showing up? Is there something I can do? I’d really like to be able to publish my visitors comments? Do I need to reinstall a comment file or something?

Now it says there are 3 comments awaiting moderation and it is still blank? Is this a bug?

Okay, that makes sense. It looks like my Avatar is showing up on this site (wp forums) now.

I found the G rating in the Settings-Discussion area, so that looks good

I’m not sure what you mean by “comment loop” I entered the code in the comment.php file just below where it says you can start editing….did you mean something else? I’ve entered it in various places but it still seems like it’s not working?

should I be looking for the term “loop” in the code? I can’t find it anywhere?

I removed that from the bottom, but still not working?

I went to the link and did all the steps in looking for blank lines but I couldn’t find any blank lines.

Are you talking about blank lines within the code or a blank line before or after the code?

I checked for lines before or after the code, and couldn’t find anything and the problem still exists?

forgot to say that I also replaced the places it says “false” with actual numbers but that didn’t work either?

Funny, now I have it happening with another theme on a different blog of mine, the theme is called Isolated. It’s giving me the same error message. I’m uploading with Filezilla, and reuploaded and still seeing the same error message.

So strange!
