Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Login?Yes, I understand that the forum can’t fix it (as I said earlier, I believed it was my server’s error). However, I was not asking for you to “fix it” my question was is there any other way to login besides the standard mysite/blog/wp-admin/? Because the rest of my website was online and working and my blog was not, I thought I had lost my blog and wanted to see if it was saved on wp or if I might have to start over.
Is there any other way to login?
Thanks in advance for your help.

In reply to: Login?Guess I spoke too soon.
I can now see the blog (which I couldn’t before) but I can not login.
The login link on the blog page gives me the error “the page can not be displayed” and the mysite/blog/wp-admin gives me the following error:“Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at mysql. This could mean your host’s database server is down.
? Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
? Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
? Are you sure that the database server is running?
If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.”I try accessing my wp-config.php file it comes up with “The page cannot be displayed”

I guess I can always wait to make changes and try again tomorrow.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Login?Thanks! That’s a relief!
It wasn’t working for about 2 hours and I even had other people check on different computers. I’m sure it was just my server doing something goofy.
