In reply to: Trouble moving WP databaseThanks Mosey – did that but the (_)&(*@#&*(P@& thing still won’t pull the data from the new dbase. I’m assuming that means I have something buggered up with the import?

In reply to: Trouble moving WP databaseOK – supremely screwed now.
Original blog at https://www.worldacupunctureblog.com has been reinstated, but when I connect it to its original database via wp-config.php it isn’t showing the posts or anything. It’s only showing the Hello World post.
Any ideas?

In reply to: Trouble moving WP databaseThanks Trisha.
I have created the new /blog/ subdomain, installed WP and installed the contents of the wp-content folder to the new subdomain.
I realize that the database is still where it always was – question being – how do I connect the new install to the existing database?
I’ve tried copying the contents of the original wp-config.php file, but I cannot connect to the existing database with the new installation.
Is that any clearer or still muddy?

In reply to: Trouble moving WP databaseOriginal site at https://www.worldacupunctureblog.com was WP
Now moving blog to https://www.worldacupuncture.com/blog – still WP
Want the original dbase posts, etc to show up in new install

In reply to: Trouble moving WP databaseFurther info, now the https://www.worldacupunctureblog.com is being sent to https://www.worldacupunctureblog.com/wp-admin/install.php and asking to install WP – I don’t want that since it’s already there – I just want the the posts and pages and comments!
Oiy!

In reply to: Wrong Post Content Showing Under Latest HeadingJust FYI – the client had done a cut and paste from Word without using the Paste from Word button – thus the errors in IE and not FF.

I’m using the proper code
<?php if (function_exists("nggSlideshowWidget")) { nggSlideshowWidget($galleryID,$Width,$Height); } ?>
in a new template, and all I’m getting is a loading screen and then a red box. What am I missing here?

Originally there was an img being called to the spot where I wanted the slideshow.
By creating a new div with a new name, and copying the properties of the img div, I managed to get it to work ??

Now it’s working (thanks Alex!) but the text that should be beside it is now underneath it.
I know this is a rather simple fix but my brain is dead today ??

In reply to: Nav bar hiccup with “Current” IDThe other thing is, this blog has a static front page and the blog posts go to this Podcast page. When it is chosen, it doesn’t show the page name in the nav bar ??

In reply to: Nav bar hiccup with “Current” IDThanks!
I’ve copied the code from another line that is working correctly within the list of
- items, but it still doesn’t show up for me.
I’ve deleted the line and added it again, but still it doesn’t show up! GRRR ??
And the Services and How We Work are going to the same page for now ??
