I experience the same issue. I think Contact Form 7 isn’t designed to have the syntax [your-name] <[your-email]> because of what I’ve read on https://contactform7.com/setting-up-mail/

But I am not totally sure.
The contact form works just fine at my end, the only annoying thing is the syntax error

I have tried your suggestion but it does not work. Because when you send an email in reply of the contact form email it is than send to [email protected]…

That’s tedious.

I have the same problem as talayika and Piani, I have a configuration error in the from field.

Mine is saying “This email address does not belong to the same domain as the site.”

I have set it up as [your-name] <[your-email]>.

And as Piani mentioned the form is working as it should. I don’t get why there is an configuration error than.

Can anybody help me with that?
