Have you tried the other options under the links manager to make sure that you’ve chosen the right one?

Firstly its a bad idea to use a auto-installer, but seeing as you have I guess it should be okay. Using a FTP application (filezilla), visit the directory that is specified in that URL (/wp-content/uploads) and right click, set the permissions to 777. If the directory doesn’t exist there then just create it and then set the perms. You can probably use something less risky then 777 but its best to try with that and then reduce it.

Sounds like a very good idea! If anything you should just take apart a few of the existing gallery plugins, maybe even look at Gallery2 which has probably all of the features you’d ever need – and take the best bits from each. You obviously like Falbum so maybe you should look at that for starters. I know this might not be that good an example but maybe you could use something similar to the posting method that Structured Blogging implements. Just some ideas? One think I think would be good would be support for files without forcing you top upload (like many gallery style things do) because then you can just stick a URL in there which is easier.

I use php code which says “if this is IE then show something different”, still making your websites for browsers like Firefox is a good idea. Your site looks okay in IE for me.

Try these

Edit your stylesheet which is in /wordpress-location/wp-content/themes/your-theme and its called style.css or something similar (ends with .css).

Find out what defines the width and change it (search for width: or something)

Access your SQL database and change it in there (its encoded MD5 so you can replace it by encoding a different password in MD5 and replacing the current one). You can also find your other details on there. I recommend you use phpmyadmin which makes it pretty easy.

Browse to wp_users (table) and then click browse. If your the only user, you’ll be at the top. Then click edit.
