I am not much expert in WordPress internal files,by seeing files like .htaccess or wp-index etc, i can’t find out the difference is there a bad code applied or something like that. But all the plugins mentioned in that article, i installed few of them and Sucuri is able to detect the problem while other plugins showed that my site has no problem. But Sucuri is paid service and i am unable to buy it right now. Information u r provided pretty good and helpful but i am still unable to solve the problem.

This is the reply godaddy gave me today – “if you are using Managed WordPress, those updates are handled by GoDaddy. You would get an alert if you attempted to manually make the update. We have started rolling out the update to our Managed WordPress customers today, 1/12/17. You will automatically receive the update & be notified when it has completed.”

So There’s no actual solutions? god i am still here like reading a live feed and am still hoping someone would come with a solution. How long we have to go through this? Come On !

How much time it’s going to take to get rid of from this whole problem? When the managed wordpress updating plan going to be finished so we can get our site back in full motion?

Now i cant log in into my account. Everytime i am logging in and trying to do something, its automatically logging me out and sometimes a messages showing up – Your session is expired.

i am having the same problem with Godaddy managed wordpress. really annoying. There is a new version available though, WordPress 4.7.1

I opened my site through filezilla and checked the wp-content/upgrade folder like many thread suggested to edit a file called maintanance.php or something to solve the problem, but i found nothing on that folder.It’s empty.

Actually i created the menu through jetpack plugin. Where i selected the sweepstakes, freebies, coupons, and other pages .When i was creating the menu, It showed me the option to select the options from Categories. And i selected the main 4 categories and then pages.It’s looking good. But at the right side of my site , you can see a category option is available. That’s the thing i want to manage.i don’t want to show it that way. And there is no way right now to manage it with my existing plugins. May be i can show you another site as an example. Here is an example what i want. In the home page the categories need to appear like this –

and when i am going to select an option, say sweepstakes, all the subcategories under the sweepstakes going to appear on the page like this in the sidebar –
