Thanks for you help, I figured it out. I had a rogue </div> tag in my text that was causing the problem.

Agus, thank you for your help. The first bit of code

<div style="clear: both;"></div>

did in fact move the footer to the bottom. I am a bit lost on the second part though. I am not sure where ‘<div id=”rightcolumn”> should be placed since it is already in the second line of sidebar.php following “</div>.”

The only reference to both leftcolumn and rightcolumn in the same file is in style.css but I’m pretty sure I don’t alter anything there.

So do I need to alter page.php or index.php and how do I do that?

Thank you so much for your help. Your suggestion did work for removing the child category. I’ve been trying to use the documentation for the functions, but I guees it’s an art to incorporate what is mentioned there.

Excellent Notion… it did change to categories… but now the sub-category is aligning next to it… any thoughts on how to get it removed (without removing it as a child of blogs)or how to get it to appear in a dropdown of ‘blogs?’
