I have validated the page at this address

so i know that isnt my issue.

Still wont load right when i am logged into the admin panel.
Still doesnt look right in IE6.
Still doesnt load the commenting system as re: above, i even tried an a test user account.

in addition the display in IE6 is atrocious, what the heck happened?

Also noticed that clicking a post’s “no comment” link will display this:

in the address bar but wont display the actual page to leave comments

any ideas anyone?

ok, tested this a ton of times… it only does this when i am also logged into the admin in another tab or window, not sure if it’s doing it to other people when i’m logged in but it is doing it to me when i have both open in windows or tabs.

its driving me crazy

okay it wasnt that code it was the update itself.

heres whats happening, but this is as far as my knowledge goes, so help is grealty appreciated.

it does it after a new post, and it takes it a bit but it comes back. but why? sql was working fine before the update. is it the new way it accesses to avoide security issues?

did a refresh and it was doing it again.
did another, and its fine again
i’m stumped

i know it always displays the main page, except that when i click on a Page link, for instance the about me page, it should display that pages contents. and when i have it set for Permalinks – Date and Name it only shows the index, the first thing you see. if i switch to default Permalink designation then when i click a Page link it shows that page.

i went in and changed my permalinks from date and name based to the default. reloaded and everything works fine. But then i tried again to go back to date and name based and it again wont work is what i am saying.

So the issue is there. i can apparently, until someone with higher tech skills in this realm can help, cannot use anything but the default permalinks designations.

so if anyone has a clue on this i would greatly appreciate it.
