So it looks like if I don’t manually mark payments as “paid” it doesn’t send the email notification. It used to set as paid once guest finished paying using the gateway. How do I fix this or is this something for an update?
In settings, go to “Email” then new order notifications.
You then can add these tags into the blank field to receive notifications.{delivery_date} – Selected delivery date by customer
{fooditem_list} – A list of fooditem purchased
{name} – The buyer’s first name
{fullname} – The buyer’s full name, first and last
{username} – The buyer’s user name on the site, if they registered an account
{user_email} – The buyer’s email address
{billing_address} – The buyer’s billing address
{date} – The date of the purchase
{subtotal} – The price of the purchase before taxes
{tax} – The taxed amount of the purchase
{price} – The total price of the purchase
{phone} – Customer’s phone number
{service_type} – Service Type
{service_time} – Service Time
{order_note} – Order note
{payment_id} – The unique Order ID number for this purchase
{receipt_id} – The unique ID number for this purchase receipt
{delivery_address} – Delivery address
{payment_method} – The method of payment used for this purchase
{sitename} – Your site name
{receipt_link} – Adds a link so users can view their receipt directly on your website if they are unable to view it in the browser correctly.
{discount_codes} – Adds a list of any discount codes applied to this purchase
{order_id} – The order# for this order
{tips} – Tips for the orderI have all of the short codes. Never had an issue seeing until the new 2.5.1 update.
Something is broken. I just placed an order myself and no order notification email came through at all. It comes up in order history as “pending payment” and payment is in paypal. Nothing was updated or changed in past 24 hours. Running 2.5.1
I actually have the extension, but it doesn’t actually show tips in the order history, emails from orders, etc. There isn’t a way just to see which guest orders included tips except the checking each individual payment via paypal.
Today there has been numerous orders in a row saying failed payment but still being charged. I’m assuming this is paypal API issue? It hasn’t been an issue until recently.
So they will place an order, it will say order failed, but it will still charge them. They will then place another order and it will go through. Thus they are charged twice.
This happens 2 out of 10 transactions or so. Sometimes more.Paypal is the gateway.
Regarding the emails, we always get the emails. But occasionally, one order will come in without any specification if it’s pickup or delivery or the time selected.

They would receive basically a code they could use with a set dollar value to use and purchase items.
Would that show customers on selecting an item the option to choose the date/time (always at least next day)
Ex. I’m placing an order right now 2pm, my only option would be to select tomorrow and a certain time to pickup.

{sitename}All I can see in order history is email and the guest name as far as information. I need to be able to see a phone number in order email or history in case something runs out and need to call them quicker than email. Also, I keep getting orders after close. Can that be turned off? I set hours, but orders still come in.
Is there a way to set days for individual items? We have special items we do that I would like to set parameters to only show certain days.
