In reply to: [Google Authenticator] Not working after updating iThemes SecurityI am also having this issue. iThemes 4.0.7 broke my Google Authenticator to where I couldn’t log in to my site without deactivating the GA plugin. I recently updated to 4.0.16 and with GA activated I can now log in, but there is no option to enter the two-step code.
I had the same issue with Google Authenticator, though I wasn’t able to log in at all. I had to rename the plugin folder to break it so I could.
I didn’t have any issues with 4.0.7, but when I upgraded to 4.0.10 I started having the same issue as Stephen Judge without the ability to log in. When I try to log in using just the username and password, I get the same error message as WaldenPondDesigns.
I logged in to FTP and changing the name of the BWPS folder allows me to login using the Authentication, so I was then able to deactivate Google Authenticator. From there I renamed the BWPS folder and reactivated. I’m able to log in now, though without the two-factor authentication, which makes me a little uncomfortable.
I’m also having the same issue. I tried to set the unavailable time from 11pm to 8am and it gives me the same error message at 10:28am local time–the time listed on my WP site is set to local time as well.
