In reply to: [Plugin: Google Maps for WordPress] Map display issueThanks Marventus! I inserted the Google Map code the same as I did with the earlier sites. What I ended up doing is changing to the MapPress plug in, which worked perfectly first time.

In reply to: How do I change order of my pages?OK- go to your dashboard and click pages, then click on your Get in Touch page, which will load that to be edited. When that loads you should see the Page Attributes then Order box on the right. Change the value of Order to 10 and you should be all set, once you click the “Update” button above it.

In reply to: How do I change order of my pages?On the right side of the page admin, you will see a box named Page Attributes, which at the bottom has a box “Order”.
Give “Get in Touch” a higher value that Services, say 10 and it will change the order. By default the order is alphabetical after Home, so to change the order you change the value in “Order”

In reply to: Where to embed Google Analytics code?I use the Google Analytics plugin to handle this. It places the code in the header by default and also allows you to place it manually. It is available here
Good luck!

In reply to: remove search, archive, meta log in from sidebarThanks again alchymyth for both the solution and the Template Hierarchy link to increase my knowledge.

In reply to: remove search, archive, meta log in from sidebarOK, another issue-same problem. If you go to the blog page after I made alchymyth’s suggested changes, Blog Page, it loads without the search, archive, meta log in in the sidebar.
BUT, if you go directly to that blog post, say from a search, Blog Page from search, it loads the search, archive, meta log in in the sidebar again.

In reply to: Issue with widget alignmentesmi,
Once again Thank you so much. Not the first time your help was dead on!
I need this too, the ability to place the sign up form on a page and not as a widget.
I used the following, as suggested above, on a site with Exec-PHP installed.
$CC = new constant_contact_api_widget(); $CC->widget();
This just displayed the above as text
also tried:
<?php constant_contact_api_widget-3; ?>
which displayed nothing.
Thanks in advance for any help!

In reply to: Child Theme help before upgrade to 3.05Thanks! Great idea.

In reply to: Child Theme help before upgrade to 3.05I guess my problem is I did not document the changes I made, I sort of made changes to style.css as I went along to get it looking and working right. I know, bad move obviously. I had no idea updates would cause issues, now I know.
