For other readers who might eventually have the same problem and are no css or jquery-experts (as myself).

It works by simply adding the following code to my registration form:

First of all, thank you very much for your quick answer.

I checked it, mqtranslate is pointing to the po-files.
The problem were the missing po-files for German and Italian, which were obviously not there. Sorry, I could have checked this before.

All right, in this case I am going to do the translations. I won’t be able to do it the next days, but definitely within the next weeks. As soon as it will be done I am going to forward you the respective files.

I had lots of problems with qtranslate and I am very happy with mqtranslate (it’s updated regularly, reqest are answered…), but this specific bug had not been occuring with qtranslate.

Sorry, I found the reason for my problem, although I do not understand why.

If I do not configure the home page as the “mother” of the pages in question (it’s no use doing this, because it doesn’t give any additional information in the url and the url is just getting longer) it works.
