It would be handy if I could do it using a plugin. For example I want to query posts under a single category, how do I post it inside a page or post?

Few hours ago it wasn’t working but we tried again now and it worked. I think WordPress is transferring everything to Jetpack now…

@alseymour – Is your API key still intact? I tried reinstalling the WordPress.com Stats plugin and wordpress is rejecting my API.

How did you make it work? Did you installed jetpack?

I tried the export function and like I said I have more than 18,000 posts and each posts have like 5-50 comments on it. If I use the wordpress export, its just timing out and uploading them again will be another problem. I’m looking for a way to wipe out all options on the database via phpMyAdmin and installing a new one w/o losing my current posts, comments, and user information.. Thanks

I get this error, i have 17,000+ tags, if i’ll remove them via wp-admin, it’ll take me weeks..

Worked perfectly MichaelH, now I have to find how to globally remove tags with zero posts. If you know a SQL magic, kindly please let me know, here’s my thread..

Me too, I want to delete all tags with zero entries, they just add up a new link to be indexed on google with empty information thats why sometimes google will auto sandbox the site for link flooding. I just want to get rid of them all..

Same problem here, I upgraded to 2.8.1 and I thought it will solve the problem but still it doesn’t, I’m also under a xeon dedicated server with 8GB Ram, running Linux CentOS.
