Hello @dreamzspl,
The issue is not completely fixed at the moment.
The AIO support team managed to link it to theDiscourage search engines from indexing this site
option.
Below you’ll find the answer I got from the AIO support team.
I hope it can help you :Thanks for sharing the site copy and I apologize for the unfortunate delay.
I tested the site copy you shared and was able to reproduce the issue. Upon investigating, I found that the console error is shown only when you’ve enabled the “Discourage search engines from indexing this site” option from your?WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Reading?–?
https://a.supportally.com/i/YyBYb8
The reason you see it only after v4.6.6 of All in One SEO is because we introduced a new notice in v4.6.7 that informs you if the above setting is enabled, which means that your site is not indexable. Here’s a screenshot of the notice –?
https://a.supportally.com/i/jJ8aiE
This notice is only shown when you’re logged into the website, and thus the console error also appears only then. That is, the console error gets removed, and the dropdown menu start working when logged out.?
I’ve created an internal issue regarding this, and I’ll ensure to notify you as soon as we have an update.
Meanwhile, since your site is currently in development phase and you don’t want to index it yet, please follow the steps below and see if the issue gets fixed –?
- Go to your?WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Reading.
- Uncheck the “Discourage search engines from indexing this site” option and?Save Changes.
- Go to?All in One SEO > Search Appearance > Advanced?tab.
- Disable the?Use Default Settings?toggle for?Global Robots Meta?setting. Screenshot –?https://a.supportally.com/i/LyBayQ
- Select the?No Index?checkbox and?Save Changes. Screenshot –?https://a.supportally.com/i/VDpNkJ
Setting the Global Robots Meta to No index in All in One SEO would also prevent your website from getting indexed. Once your website is ready to be launched, you can reverse this change to make the site indexable.
With that said, I’ll be sure to inform you as soon as we have an update on the console error.
Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
I’m really looking forward to helping you.

King regards,Hey @prabhatrai,
Thank you for your answer.
Sorry for my late answer, I needed time to be able to test your troubleshooting steps on my website instance.
# Details about the issue:
Unfortunately I don’t have a demo website ready right now, so I can’t share a website URL with you has the website is still in development.Regarding the issue, it shows a few errors in the console and prevents the
core/navigation
block submenus from being shown on hover (this issue seems to only be triggered while being logged in to the WordPress administration).
The rest of the website seems to be working normally.# Steps to reproduce the issue:
I’ve used the “Health Check & Troubleshooting” plugin and managed to find a way to reproduce the issue. Here are the steps to reproduce the issue:
1- Login to the WP Admin
2- Create a block pattern containing acore/navigation
block with a submenu
3- Create a new page and add the pattern on the page
4- Test that thecore/navigation
submenu is working on hover and that there isn’t any error message in the console
