In reply to: [Hustle - Email Marketing, Lead Generation, Optins, Popups] Botton LinkThank you Predrag for your kind reply. I think my problem is that I have a wrong understanding of what Popup can do and what not. It might simply be the wrong plugin for my purposes.
I want to have a popup window where subscribers can fill in a field with their email and then push the submit button and then their address is sent to my Mailchimp list.I understand that the button only leads to a page where they can then so what I want them to do, but I want them to subscribe directly.
I have Mailchimp for WP installed but that doesn’t do the job either. Their suggested form is so very ugly that I simply can’t force myself to use it. And paying $29 month is totally oversized for my kind of business. I know how to add the suggested popup from Mailchimp to my site, but this is far too “aggressive” for my typical clients with popping up after 3 seconds and no way to prolong it . This way I will loose subscribers, rather than win them…. They need to have a chance to read first before getting hit by a popup window.
So, the kind of window you offer is absolutely perfect, it looks great, works well but as mentioned obviously isn’t the right thing for me.
Right now I have the Jetpack widget on my blog page for subscriptions and that works fine but I want the subscribers in mailchimp that I can send out a newsletter at a later point. Maybe you can recommend a working and well designed alternative for my purposes? Thank you!
That’s what I thought as well.
I installed Postman and that works fine! I hope that 4.6.1 will fix it.Thank your for your help!
Thank you Jeremy,
I checked and comments come through.
I talked to my provider who says that they did not block the emails (and they do come through when using a different contact form).
I added a different email account from a different provider, no email made it.
It worked fine until the beginning of July, I did not change/add anything, only did the official updates of jetpack and wp.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Last version is a disaster!Unfortunately, my provider does not allow automatic updates and rollbacks, so the only possible way for me to getting my system to work is installing the 2.3.5 version manually. But where do can I download it????

In reply to: Does not accept passwordkmessinger, I did try that, did not help…
Marc, it is the same from all devices, PC, mobile, tablet. And I am under the impression that it started with my update to wp4.1, not sure though.

In reply to: Does not accept passwordNo changes, not updates. it started when I tried to log into my account from my tablet which did not work, although I entered the correct password. As I hadn’t logged out the account on my PC there wasn’t a problem. I was first today I was locked out. I deinstalled two plugins and it worked fine.
Wonder if I should simply install the latest wordpress version again to fix this issue.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Does not accept passwordAgain, I followed the “lost your password” link, got an email, entered the new(=old)pw, logged in successfully.
Logged out, tried to log in again – same procedure, I can’t log in.Forum: Fixing WordPress

Just logged out, wanted to log in again, 1500% sure the the pw was correct, tried several times:
ERROR: The username or password you entered is incorrect. Lost your password?
But I entered what the PHP admin says, it is identical.
I just can’t log back in….Forum: Fixing WordPress
