In reply to: WordPress-supported MySQL alternatives?OK, thanks!
However, I will be taking extra care not to post off topic again.
OK. The reason I posted the b2/cafelog posts was because even after the first warning I wasn’t convinced that it was off topic, as, as I said, b2/cafelog is the former WP. It even says that in all WP readme.html files.

In reply to: Is brute force attack normal?I see, thank you for letting me know @sterndata ! At what point do you think it would become a cause for concern? Because I’ve heard of WP sites getting so hammered that the web server crashes.
Thanks.

In reply to: Install b2/cafelog.Thank you very much for your reply!
Yes, I think you’re probably right about the PHP versions. The earliest I can get is PHP v5.4.45, and the latest version of PHP in 2002 was v4.2.
When I tried to install b2/cafelog, the installation actually succeeded, and I could see the b2/cafelog site up and running. However, I couldn’t post or modify it, because when I tried to log in with the details the installation wizard provided and I clicked “log in”, it didn’t go to b2-admin, instead it took me right back to the login page, so it was basically a login loop. Would you know of any possible causes for this other than PHP version?
Thank you very much!
