Hello! Sorry for late replay. Is it possible to send it privately? And also can you please point out contact info how I could reach out somebody about bugs in MailerLite platform itself and to discuss some details about platform functionality. I have some recommendations I would like to share. Thanks.
I see that, like I said it is strange and just because I happens only once I am not concern that much. I am fine to keep this topic open for some time and see if there are anyone else comes with the same problem.
I will keep posted if I spot something new related to this!
I am getting forwarded email error reports from clients, so I have not been on settings page neither they.
If I go over settings page all seems ok, I can even refresh lists/tags and they do appear as should. No issues here…
Ok, I have another incident… Yet another WP and another AC account, they are not related to the previous 2 websites. The difference this time is an Error line… 702… Looking at the code this time it is related to the Tags list… And again looking at timing not related to orders. There were orders on that day, but not at the time the error showed up.
Something fishy going on! ?? And I have no incidents anymore on the websites I caught it the first time.
Hi! Sorry for late reply I had nighttime here. Ok, so let me add my input here a bit more. It is gonna be hard to catch this one as it triggered just once and that’s all. I looked at error timing in the log (by the way recent Woo update changed the look of log section, much better now) and it does not match with any of orders in that day not even close.
So what is triggered this fault? I understand it failed to get ac list. And you think it could be because it timed out? If so I would put my bet still that issue then most likely came from AC side instead. That platform is well known for being slow that could cause response timing on our side right?
Now like I said I am not sure what triggered this action and if it failed to load the list we are not sure if extending timing actually will fix the issue. And then again when and if I will see another error. All my concerns is that nothing was drastically changed/added/increased in data amount to create such problem neither on WP or AC side. And if I will extend timeout will it won’t affect my website load times in specific situations?
Just want to make sure we are looking in the right direction here. And would like to hear your thoughts. Thanks
Both websites has been running for years and no changes has been done to the setup. My first guess was must be something from AC side with lists, but then 2 independent websites and 2 independent AC accounts got same issue… Decided to report here!
P.S. I know that AC is fiddling around with all domain authentication that you must be aware off… So if you pointing this out to Api integration… Still could be that they doing something on their side? Only both errors came in different times, even different days… Strange….

In reply to: [Stop WP Emails Going to Spam] SPF Record updateWell one of websites do not see DNS records even after multiple days. Records are all fine as I see and can check on whatsmydns. Also emails do come in clean. If background works I am not worried about visual part.

In reply to: [Stop WP Emails Going to Spam] SPF Record updateOk I got you. Changes reflecting fairly quickly these days, so I will just keep an eye. Thanks!
2.0.7 is a fix after resaving settings! Good job! Thanks.
Problem is still there for existing connected accounts. Resaving settings won’t remove that notification. Why you just simply add X close button at the end of notification bar like any other WP notifications has and problem would be solved!

Lost one symbol at the end…
Ok, thanks for confirming this!
Then this suggestion makes sense:
This email is just to let you know that your next subscription payment is due {next_payment_date}!
This way we inform that next payment will be taken in the next X days and that not necessarily mean that subscription will end… ??
I see that this is where you can improve the plugin functionality in the future… For now I can say big thank you as is does exactly what I am was after. Most of my subscriptions are without expiry date, so they run until admin or customer press cancel. And just notifying customer about next payment due is something that will be required by law in the near future, so this is very helpful.
Just to add more… This is related to automated subscription payments as in normal situation once you setup the subscription next payment will be taken automatically and not require manual work! As that would be normal behaviour these days!
Not sure you understand what I wrote!
Subscription Next Payment and Subscription End date What would require action to resubscribe as it ends at that date are 2 different things. let me try to explain. Let’s say I have a monthly subscription for 12 months. Starting from today 13.04.2023. my next payment is on 13.05.2023. but the actual subscription end date is 13.04.2024. Right!
Now what I understand your plugin will send notification X days before 13.05.2023. Or is it will send a notification only X days before 13.04.2024?
Hope this explained my concern, I understand that I can customize that text, but just looking to clarify things and help to make it more clear for myself and others who may have such question!
