I have done this, but nothing changed

I have copied this code but it did not help and there is an error:

I have tried to recreate those items but it did not help. I have removed them from menu and there were still gaps.

I am doing this in article, but it looks like I have to choose custom size and guess it to match previously added images. I just can not understand why my previously added image at large size 1024×774 is smaller to large size image added recently. Well, I think I can overcome this problem by choosing custom size, but it would be better if it worked like before. Thank you so much for your help!

My home page looks fine now, thanks! However, I have still problem with images added to my new post that I am currently editing. The large size images that I am adding now are much bigger than large size images I have added couple of days ago.

I am not sure where can I find the files of the wordpress installation?

I just came with another error…I have started editing a post that I have created few days ago and I have added a large size picture 1024×774 and it is much bigger than previously added images at the same size.
