• Hi Frank,
I’ve been using autoptimize together with Hyper Cache since a long time.
Works very good but Google fonts loading still slightly slow down the website so I just installed now the “Above the Fold” + Google Font Optimizer.
The result is great. Pages load still faster and PageSpeed Insights comes out with a much better score and the famous green tickle.
Just one little issue: in Safari (on Mac Desktop) a white page appears for a 10th of a second before the page loads. It is very fast but not very funny for the eyes of the viewer!!
Would you have any idea? Some settings to change?
Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

hmmm … would be trial and error and I’m not on OSX+Safari myself, but I do see you have “above the fold” active but you’re also inlining all your CSS in AO. it would probably be better to switch AO to the normal mode (so not “inline” nor “inline and defer”) and let “above the fold” handle the styling by injecting inline CSS and loading the normal CSS later.

if that doesn’t solve the flash (white page), you’ll have to try without “google webfont optimizer” (but with “atf”) and then without “above the fold” (and without “gwfo”) to see which one could be causing this.

    hope this helps,
    frank
