In reply to: [Plugin: Simple Tags] When can we expect WP 2.8 fixHad to disable and remove this plugin, because I lost a lot of functionality with the WordPress 2.8.4 client. For example, I can’t schedule posts for future publication, which I do twice a week, every week.
As someone else posted, too many bugs to list. Great idea, but buggy implementation at this point.

In reply to: Admin Login, Redirects to Login Page, LoopingI just experienced this same thing after upgrading a 2.5.1 install to 2.6. Fortunately, the site I’m trying to enter is merely a “sandbox” subdomain; however, the behavior is quite worrisome.
Obtaining a new password doesn’t improve things.
However, in researching further, I came across the suggestion to remove cookies. I cleared cookies (only for the subdomain) and was able to immediately log in to the wp-admin Dashboard.

In reply to: Caption and alt text should not be the sameHeh…I have a different problem: I can’t get the captions to appear, no matter what I do (to include uploading the new \wp-includes\functions.php file).

In reply to: 2.6 upgrade, cant’ upload pictures anymoreHaving a similar problem: I click “Insert into Post” and…nothing happens. I’ve updated the functions.php file as well. I’d really like to be able to use the caption function!

In reply to: RSS Feeds Don’t WorkTry feedburner.com. If it tells you that your feed is valid, then I’m guessing it’s just an update delay. I use Google Reader and it can be hours between a post and having it appear in the reader.

In reply to: Import from BloggerThis is now working, but only if you import to a wordpress.com blog. To get your posts & comments to a self-hosted blog, you need to then export to an XML file, then re-import from your self-hosted blog. A bit of a kludgy workaround, but it worked great for me.

In reply to: Can’t import from blogger beta to wordpressFollow-up: I filed a support ticket today and linked this thread (then got an email asking what error I was seeing).
At any rate, I’ll report what happens when it happens.
I’ve no idea if it’s a WB or Google/Blogger problem–and frankly, I don’t really care. I would just like to import my old posts!

In reply to: Can’t import from blogger beta to wordpressI’m subscribing to this topic, because I have the same issue. It appears that WP 2.2 isn’t communicating effectively with Blogger/blogspot, but I’ve no coder, and even if I knew what the import script was executing, I doubt I’d understand it.
Is anyone looking into this issue? Because until it’s resolved, I’m afraid a lot of folks looking to move to WP (I’m hosting WP 2.2 on my own server), won’t.
