    Hi,

Here is the button without the shortcode on the page

and here is the button with the shortcode on the page.

    Thank you. ??

If you also need the inherited CSS information, let me know.

Here is the button without the shortcode on the page

and here it is instead with the shortcode on the page

Note also that the shortcode is only stripping away the CSS of any Elementor widgets that are below the shortcode.

For example, I’ve placed the shortcode between the same two Elementor sections in the below image.

    Hi,

That is happening on a website that I have locally and has not gone live yet.

Thank you, it’s nice to see that you are continuing to work on this plugin. ??

I have the most recent version of Tutor LMS. I have tried various themes, including the most recent WordPress theme (Twenty Twenty-Three). The issue is present in all cases.

Note that the monetization method I use is Paid Memberships Pro. If I switch to WooCommerce, I’m able to access the lessons within public courses.

Therefore, the issue appears to be specifically that it’s not possible to have Paid Memberships Pro as the monetization method while also offering public courses at the same time. If I try to open a lesson within a public course with this setup, it just redirects me to the course details page.

Can you confirm that, if you select Paid Memberships Pro as your monetization method, that you are able to access the lessons within a public course?

Thank you for the swift reply, I hope it’s something that might be added in the future!

    Have a good day! ??

    Hi,

Yes, I still have the issue and yes, the latest version of the plugin appears on my end.

I don’t understand your response though. You’ve stated that “we tried to reproduce the issue on our end but couldn’t do that” and yet you’ve also stated that “If the issue still persists, please try clearing your browser cache”.

You are therefore implying with the last statement that clearing your browser cache may be necessary.

My question is, if that is indeed the case, is there a way around that so that I don’t have to explain to all of my members how to clear their browser cache?

    Thank you for your help.

Perfect, thank you again for you quick response! ??

    Hi again!

I had been testing this plugin in a sandbox environment with the latest version of this plugin and Tutor LMS.

However, on my actual website, I am using Tutor LMS 1.9.x rather than Tutor LMS 2.x as I (like many others) find Tutor LMS 2.x to be very buggy.

Unfortunately, that snippet does not seem to work on Tutor LMS 1.9.x.

Do you recall if you wrote an older version of that script before Tutor LMS 2.0 was released? Or do you have any idea as to how I could go about figuring out what I need to change in that snippet in order to get it to work on Tutor LMS 1.9.x?

Thank you again for your help! ??

Ah, I had a feeling that there must be a page where you discussed specific plugins but for some reason I failed to find it.

Snippet works perfectly. Thank you for your quick support, especially on the weekend! ??

After some more testing, I see that if I do nothing but install this plugin and then click “Save permastructures” (without changing any of the settings), any new lessons that I create lose their parent structure.

In the video below, I created a fresh WordPress environment here. I then only did two things before the recording started: 1) installed Tutor LMS and 2) created a lesson.

Thank you, but you literally just repeated everything that I said in the third post of this thread.

Yes, this can occur with any plugin that is badly coded. You should not have such a general CSS rule in your plugin for the reason that I stated in the third post. I expect this trivial bug to be fixed in 2.1.8.

Your first video showed the bug I stated. Every other image and video that you sent me since then was irrelevant. I stated multiple times that everything else that you sent was contradicting your first video but, for whatever reason, you ignored that.

I literally showed you how to reproduce the bug from a fresh install of WordPress in 2 minutes. And I did that twice. Yet, I had three different members of the support team telling me hat the bug was “specific to me” and that I should email you instead. None of you bothered to spend those 2 minutes doing exactly what I did on a fresh install.

P.S. This separate bug here has been making the plugin unbearable to use on mobile for four weeks now. As per the first reply, the fix for this bug has also been known for about four weeks. Yet, instead of immediately releasing version 2.1.6.1 with this fix, you instead recommended users apply the fix manually until you release the next version which you did four weeks later.

Please reconsider how you deal with major errors in your release schedule.

P.P.S. As one of many users who use with plugin with both PM Pro and Woocommerce, I cannot use any recent update due to this bug. I don’t see anything about this bug being fixed in the 2.1.7 changelog so I assume it still exists.

Rather than having this user talking to themselves and fixing the bug for you, please consider replying to that thread, acknowledging that the bug exists and that you are working on it so that I know that I do not need to look elsewhere if I wish to use an e-learning platform together with PM Pro and Woocommerce.

    Have a good day!
