This is crazy that a plugin update brings down a website.

This is how I fixed it:
SSH/SFTP/FTP into server
Rename cforms2 to cforms2-fix
This allowed me to sign in to admin
Goto plugins – plugin is deactivated because it can’t be found
Back in SSH/SFTP/FTP: Rename cforms2-fix to cforms
In admin – plugins – plugin update cforms2
Activate cforms2 plugin
Should be back in business

I had to manually update wordpress and now it’s working

same issue – did an update to 4.4.
It got stuck – so I deleted .maintenance from the wordpress folder and now can’t access admin, although the site is up.

we’re having the same problem.
any idea when the fix will push out?

But then when I click continue it just goes back to the previous screen

I also had the auto-update and it disabled my cforms ii plugin.
Then I tried to migrate my settings, and it told me that they migrated, but when I click to continue it comes back to the same screen, so I can’t see my forms.

I downgraded to 2.1.7 and it worked.
Then I deleted the plugin folder and reinstalled 2.2.1 and activated now it’s working.

still an issue for me.
