I’m encountering a similar thing alongside GenerateBlocks. I’ve some elements not hiding due to CSS specificity overriding the rule.

I’ve finally got to poking with this and I think the issue is that when hidden sliders are initially loaded, they aren’t being assigned a default value and aren’t given a value until the user interacts with them. For now, can you try explicitly defining a default value for the slider(s) on the Advanced tab when editing the field? This should then allow them to populate themselves (or any dependent calculation fields) properly.

I’ll try to figure a way to best address this. Maybe an indicator that a field is in a NULL state. I know other users elsewhere have requested that sliders are not auto-assigned a default value, so as to require the user to explicitly set it.

I think it should be working with calculation fields. I wonder if there might be a conflict or if some specific configuration is blocking things from proper calculations. Anything show in your browser console?

I’ve not noticed this on any of my sites. My first thought would be that a caching plugin might be interfering. Do you have a public URL that I could check out?

I’ve not been able to reproduce this and haven’t heard other users having this issue. Do you have an accessible form that I could check out? I expect it might be some javascript conflict with something else running on the site.

I see that you’ve switched to using the Faithlife Reftagger. I may have to add that into this plugin – especially as I just realized the other modal integration I had (with bibles.org) may now be retired.

This will still remain an issue, though, for those using YouVersion. Thanks for pointing it out.

Yeah, at the moment, you can enable conditional logic on a slider field, but they are not able to be used in the conditional logic of other fields. This has been requested by others, but I’ve not been able to implement it, yet. I should clarify this in the plugin description.

You can set the default value for a single slider under the Advanced Tab. At the moment, there is not a way override the general default value for sliders that don’t have an explicit default value set.

I’ve not been able to reproduce the issue you mention in point 1. When I have Glance That disabled, I don’t see any default forum item. I wonder if somehow it got duplicated in the Glance That user record. You might try, in your database, deleting the user meta for your user account with key glance_that and see if that resolves things.

Can you also clarify point number 2 above? Where do you mean by Unread?

Turns out, what I thought to be working, isn’t–yet. I’ll post an update when I might have this operational. ??
