Hmm, seems dumbness on my part was at play. Though I didn’t see anywhere that jetpack was REQUIRED, though I could have missed it. After setting it up, there seems to be a featured content section now.

It does seem to be an issue with modSecurity rules. Sorry for the late reply, I have been trying to get it sorted. I think it is sorted now, I’ve been on vacation so I haven’t checked, but it said today when I checked that I had 14 unique visitors. So all seems well, thanks for the tip, it was helpful to look in the server logs ??

I can comprehend that… Then I guess I must contact my theme developer for appropriate configuration I suppose… Don’t know why they would default configure these pages to show the TML widget, and not the shortcode… but they have, and it’s mildly annoying.

The login menu redirects to the login page…

So to re-interpret your response so this thread may be useful for someone else that finds it, is:

Use the shortcode on the login logout, lostpass and register pages? Not the login widget like my theme has configured by default.

Nothing is displayed on these pages without the shortcode? Seeing two login pages wouldn’t even matter, since I don’t even see one. So I don’t get what the TML widget would be conflicting with.

I think this is an err upon my theme developer, maybe based off an older version of TML that didn’t have this restriction perhaps? I haven’t edited anything else on this site. This is the demo of the theme as-is, with just the menu links set to /login and /register

Why wouldn’t the TML Widget, work on a TML page?

Even while logged out I could not see it. I had logged out to check that login was working, because by default theme menu link was sent to theme creators login page. I only added the shortcode because the widget wouldn’t display. I’ll try again to make sure I’m not being a lunatic, but I’m positive it’s not working… because that was the first thing my teammate said when he went to login was that he couldn’t see anything.

Correction. It does not. It still does not show the widget. I removed the shortcode to check.

My theme is using a custom login page template… upon setting it to default template it seems to work…

Moving it would be optimal, so the image doesn’t stretch… but a fix for now would be a black bg… figured out the black bar. this will do for now… but that mobile overflow is on your end. Outside of my skills. mobile viewport code needs to be adjusted so there isnt a whole inch overflow

Actually… moving isn’t necessary it’s desired. … can I somehow add a semi transparent black background to the top nav
