I don’t have any screen recording software, however, I’ve found a solution to my particular issue using a plugin.

If I’m adding a bunch of new articles, I can click “Save & New”. If I’m editing an article, I can click “Save & List” which returns me to the list of posts with my previous filters still applied.
For example, if I filtered categories to only show articles from “Education”, after “Save & List”, it would return me to only articles from “Education”, rather than an unfiltered list of articles.
