Having to purchase a subscription to access the majority of their help documentation and recipes is a disaster. Maybe it’s their way of discouraging the use of their free plugin. PMPro should allow users to access all recipes to customize their sites. Their premium plugins are the only thing that should be monetized.

Extremely nice to know. Thank you for using same settings as the original “Display Widgets” plugin. This makes life much easier upon conversion. Should the original plugin be deactivated prior to updating to this plugin?

I simply replaced

/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=wpsc-settings&tab=checkout&checkout_set=7

And voila. thanks

I see how to eliminate the field. Is there a way to prevent saving the record in the DB?

IE: Is there a way to prevent bot spam filled out CF7 forms from being saved as a record in the database?

Why not take this to a better level. You want the meta description for SEO purposes right? Why not use a plugin that will help substantially more for SEO than a simple meta description plugin?

If you want download and install the upcoming 3.8.14.2 version. I believe there is a fix for that issue in the next update:

This worked for me, but still have county above state in checkout since selecting a country first changes the state to a drop-down field rather than a text field.

This updated plugin is working. Much better, in my case, than rolling back to a previous version.

Please note that the version number of this plugin shows 3.8.14.1 on the admin plugins page even though it is the updated version.

I still have the country above the state in both billing and shipping forms, which, btw, did not work for me with old 3.8.14.1 as I saw in previous recommendations. Will test soon with these fields back in the normal position and report back.
