    now you have two mappings for the same domain. which one do you want to use? remove the other…

    All I want is for all the pages and custom posts of type of soscp to be used by soscp domain.

    The pages work because literally every page for soscp is a child of about-soscp, hence why i’m using “/about-soscp”. But I also need the custom posts of soscp to work. Obviously custom posts cannot be made children of a page though. This is my confusion.

    So it can’t be either or, I need to allow both. That’s why my original intention of using soscp.org/soscp <-> solovethisplace.ca/soscp was to have every soscp post under soscp.org/soscp. This DID change the links for posts but unfortunately the actual page wouldn’t be found and failed to load (so for example some page with links to posts for soscp had soscp.org/soscp/some-post-title-here as the href instead of solovethisplace.ca/soscp/some-post-title-here but when you clicked them the page didn’t exist). So what is the solution?

    I’ve reverted changes, now my only two entries are
    https://soscp.org <-> solovethisplace.ca/about-soscp
    https://www.soscp.org <-> solovethisplace.ca/about-soscp

    As you can see if you visit this page https://soscp.org/news-events/top-news-stories/
    and investigate any of those article links the href’s are using solovethisplace.ca. I need those post links to use the domain soscp.org.

    Thanks for your help.

    Okay I’m not sure if I completely understood what you meant, but this seems to have resolved the issue. I just stripped the custom post type slug from the used domain name.
