Seems a difficult issue to solve. For now, I’ll choose to use FA5 but not the pro version until this is fixed.

Ok, found this now:

menu_icon
(string) (optional) The url to the icon to be used for this menu or the name of the icon from the iconfont [1]
Default: null – defaults to the posts icon
Examples
‘dashicons-video-alt’ (Uses the video icon from Dashicons[2])
‘get_template_directory_uri() . “/images/cutom-posttype-icon.png”‘ (Use a image located in the current theme)

So I guess it is not possible ??

Hi Michael, sorry for the late answer, I moved so a bit busy building a house and such.

Anyways, I’m looking for CRUD. So not ‘managing’ Custom Post Types, but just adding, deleting, … (crud) for the end-user, from within an app on his mobile phone.

Of course that can be done by logging into the site on your mobile, but using an app (with their logo and custom post types) would be just that little bit more intuitive.
