Yeah… moving hosts isn’t an option.

Shared hosting over at Siteground. The odd thing is that it’s only on apple devices. Android and Windows based devices work just like normal.

Purchase code sent along with a link back to this thread and info about how I have tested and eliminated wordfence as being a possible cause of the issue.

Thanks for the response. The attachments were actually excel files.

I did catch that the directories were browsable and did add the Options -indexes to the htaccess today as well as deleting all of the files that were indexed. (They aren’t actually needed anymore) And I 410ed those directories since they are now empty.

Through further investigation in google search console it does appear the source of the urls were NOT the sitemap, but were indexed anyways. So – hopefully with the Options -indexes + the above that’ll solve the problem.

I’ve also used google search console to do a temp removal of the directories in question from the search results while google recrawls all the urls and sees the 410 errors then permanently removes them.

The developers have been unresponsive in the support forum and there are some serious things wrong with the plugin that can’t be gone over in any detail in a public forum at this time. The WordPress Plugin Team is currently reaching out to the developer to see if they will fix the issues that are there.

So it appears that in Chrome (latest version) The read more links show the URL in the bottom left of the window, but upon clicking them nothing happens.

In Firefox it shows the url in the same spot, but upon clicking you actually go to the that testimonial’s page

Neither of which is what the settings are saying to do…. which is expand in place.

Nevermind – there was an update. Me refreshing the page wasn’t showing me the pagination.

Not only is it STILL missing those files in the repo version it also shows the form submissions from EVERYONE to EVERYONE. (Even after grabbing the files from the github and implementing them.)

I just tried that and I think every combination of settings that I could and it didn’t fix the read more link.
