This seemed to work for me.. Just remove / comment out the following line: $r[‘hierarchical’] = 0;
You can find that in wp-includes/post-template.php

You can get creative with the styling of multiple “views”.. Please google the Mimbo theme.. It does a great job of using WordPress as a light-CMS..
