    Well, I fixed the problem.

I logged into my WordPress and went to the the appearence option on the banner and then choose menus. I then removed all my menu’s on the right and re-added them to the menu bar. Saved. That did it.

Thanks for all the other help on this forum though!

Thanks for that. Is there another resource geared more for beginners?

Much of that article was over my head. I’m not sure what type of system my WordPress is on or what type of permalinks I’m using.

Is there a way to resolve my issue without writing or reading code?

I’m happy to learning the long run but right now I’m just trying to get my started blog functioning at a crawl.

    Nope, still unresolved.

I’m wondering too if it has to do with the WordPress update that occurred recently. Or the simple catch theme update that happened too.

Either way, I would like to fix it & learn about permalinks

Awesome! Thank you. I may try to figure out how to do that soon. At this point, it is a bit over my head. But that’s very helpful. Thanks again.

Thanks for continuing to help me.

This did not fix it though. I assume when you mean ‘Anchor’ you mean the two chains that look like they would connect an anchor to a boat.

There are two icons that change from being grayed out. One is a connected chain and the other is a broken chain.
The first says “Insert/edit link” when hovering over it.
The second says “Unlink” when hovering over it.

“Unlink” just unhyperlinks so I’m assuming that you meant “Insert/edit link.”
Within that field, I have reinput the hyperlink a few times (by the way that is where I put the hyperlink initially.)
I’ve tried having the link in the link field and in the title field.

Either way, the hyperlink functionality does not persist through to the home page. They only work when on the post itself.

Thanks, I have that app on my iPhone. I was hoping there would be a way to embed the article into my wordpress post with a better look than a URL.

If I hit the share to Facebook option within the Bloomberg app, it rolls into a Facebook post that allows me to have a comment above, then a picutre from the Bloomberg article is below along with the header and a brief summary of the article, and lastly a clean Bloomberg icon with “via bloomberg” written.

I would love my blog post to be as clean as that.

I’m kind of curious if I posted it to Facebook first, could I then either share it to my WordPress post or grab the code to past into a wordpress post.
