I deactivated all of them apart from jetpack and the functionality plugin and it still doesn’t work.

yep, sorry, just thought about that. I’ve taken it off the theme functions file and added it to the plugin, still no joy so I’ve tested it on another site that has the same problem https://www.cartoonkate.co.uk.

I can’t get the header to show up on either.

There is no option in Atahualpa to add a header through the dashboard – you need to upload it via ftp and put it in the images folder in the theme folder.

I only backed up the config file and the wp content ?? the site wouldn’t let me backup via iThemes

argh – this just in from the client who asked the host:

“this is down to the move today – and the pending domain update – everything should be fine tomorrow

Can you make sure no updates are done today or tomorrow until it settles down please.”

so have I really messed things up now?
