Aleks,
Thanks for the fast response. The error for me was my own fault, I found why it was throwing the error.
I had set it up to an older Google Merchant account from the previous version of the site. There’s a new site, with a new Google Merchant account. I had it all set up but hadn’t properly connected it for the Dynamic Retargeting campaign.
I did that and it’s all working now. Thanks again for the help (and a great plugin)!

#1 was right – I somehow didn’t realize there were multiple header files when I set up the code. I added the GTM code to each of these, hopefully that will take care of it.
I did add the container code by adding the line of PHP, so #2 is not the case here.
The reason for my confusion was with Google Tag Assistant, the page in question showed Classic Analytics being run but not GTM, even though looking at the code for the page after loading showed the GTM code there.

In reply to: Dashboard not showing everything after 2.8 upgradeZepfanman, thanks so much for your htaccess fix. I was having the same problem, and it was starting to get worse. In the comments section in the dashboard I was seeing only the first comment (which was spam), but was unable to adjust it. The plugins page only showed a random spattering of plugins with some weird format tweaks.
Your htaccess lines seems to have fixed all my issues, it’s a relief. If you ever figure out what was causing it in the first place, please let me know. Thanks!
