I agree we should have away to remove this, but I also understand developers should have away to promote their work. Maybe the paid very will have an easy way to remove this.

Can you just fork the plugin and take it over? I think its a wonderful plugin also, but it seems that its been abandoned.

I only have the following in my htaccess

but its still not working. I have also turned off all the security on the website and nothing has changed.

Fair enough, I did try the .span-reading-time and it seem to work alright.

I will take a look at the github and will give it a test on the demo site.

Thank you for confirming that, as it was driving me nuts. Any ETA on when the next patch will be ok?

If there is no ETA will just add the temp fix.

Don’t get me wrong its a great feature for live site, but when working on problem I make a duplicate of the live site and work on a test site. On the test site I will purposely change the mail address so that the site will not send mails out. So that members site have people getting duplicate mails on to renew for example.

Which is why I would like a way to stop the notifications sometimes.

Does this make sense?
