i had a plugin i forgot to reactivate that caused the issue. i didn’t even see it. health check reminded me. thanks!

i respectfully disagree, jan. the instructions are from March 2013 and gives instructions for twentyten, which all code has changed since then.

found it in functions.php for twentytwelve. i simply removed this:

<div class="nav-previous"><?php next_posts_link( __( '<span class="meta-nav">&larr;</span> Older posts', 'twentytwelve' ) ); ?></div>
			<div class="nav-next"><?php previous_posts_link( __( 'Newer posts <span class="meta-nav">&rarr;</span>', 'twentytwelve' ) ); ?></div>

of course, always backup first ??

agreed. difficult to find in twentytwelve. found one, but “previous posts” still exists on top of it and can’t find where to get rid of “previous posts” text/code.

wow. this is extremely odd. i deleted everything except my config.php file, then reuploaded everything….and now it works just fine.

thankfully my sql db held all the info and restored it on my site.

since it’s always my test upgrade site with very little content, i’m going to try a fresh new install from scratch just out of curiosity…deleting everything.

i can’t get into admin…just the aforementioned errors appear with no admin prompt.

thanks. just tried that and have now reinstalled twice. same issues.

i’m at a loss here and can’t update my other sites because of this ??

i could find no blank space that everyone keeps mentioning in threads on this issue.

my config file has remain unaltered for over a year.

so far, my blog section seems to be working fine, but in my https://www.allenmcnulty.com/blog/wp-admin i get the above error and can’t access my admin at all.
