So you’re sure you’ve tested it thru GLOBAL SETTINGS –> WATERMARK, not thru the gallery view? It certainly does not work correct for me. I have 45 galleries (so it would be difficult to recreate the watermark via each gallery settings). Only one small gallery reuses a few pictures, so with opacity at 20% it still would not be 100% black. But unfortunately it is. Every picture has 100% black watermark looking like crap.
Second of all, I don’t see why having a picture in two galleries would be a good excuse for this feature not to work correctly…

Well, this is not exactly true. A few images do exist in 2 galleries, but for the most of them, only one. Again, there are two ways to batch-watermark more than one picture: via the gallery editing (and that works, as long as indeed you don’t watermark the image twice) and thru the Gallery Plugin global settings. The latter one clearly has a glitch and watermark has no transparency, when set to black – it’s 100% black (#000000).

In reply to: [Absolute Relative URLs] UselessThanks for asking!
Using 5.8.2, switched to old editor. Basically I run a local server 192.168.0.100 also accessible outside at a domain name, entire thing for testing. All the links point to a local IP address. After applying the plugin, it’s still the case for all pictures and links. I would expect it to alter the links to /wp-content/…. and so on.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Simple Grey] Update 1.7.2 crashed the websiteJust tried 1.7.6 and still kills the whole thing…
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘)’ in /wp-content/themes/simple-grey/inc/template-tags.php on line 200Hi,
I upgraded to 1.5.71, then 1.5.72 and it’s still exactly the same. I had to revert to 1.5.69 one more time. You’re great, thank you!
Checked, nothing really alarming. No https, no organization logo, etc. Most of all no difference with 1.5.69 installed vs. 1.5.70.
Side note: the extra side bars appear with about half second delay.Hi,
I am using Simple Grey Version: 1.6.1, nothing changed there. I’ll try to restore an older version of the Photo Gallery from backup and see what happens.
PS. restored to 1.5.69 and everything works great- This reply was modified 3 years, 7 months ago by tsf999.
Hi,
Thanks for your prompt reply. Now checking on another PC and the effect is slightly different, it’s not exact clone but kind of resized. Two examples:

PeterJust installed the latest update and still the same… both new Edge and Firefox. It’s very random and some galleries are centered, some are aligned to left. Would be great if you had another look at it… Thanks!
1.5.29 still not fixed…
You’re right, I was referring to 1.5.17 and 1.5.27.
I appreciate, but I really don’t need a custom made css. What I mean is: it was OK in 1.5.17, it is obviously wrong in 1.5.27, so this is a software bug. There are ~2 extra empty lines for no reason.
Best regards

Nothing was changed on the website / database itself though, it’s there for 2 years! New lines were entered using Enter key just normal way and they’re still OK (no HTML tags). And all of sudden it broke with some update. Now, when I click a picture it looks OK. Scroll to the next, then previous – not OK. This might be a reason you haven’t noticed it.
Best regards,

I do confirm. After one of the recent updates, multi-line description shows <BR> marks.
Thanks! Issue resolved with your hint about the screen size. Right now I only have my laptop screen (1360×768 standard HD) but un-zoomed a view in firefox to 80% and voila! Drag&drop is possible and also Description field showed up. So it is just hiding instead of scaling if there’s little space. Well, it worked different way before, some people may get confused as I did… but ultimately everything works.
Thanks!
