    Thanks for the help. It was the wp.mu.php file that was doing it. Removed it from the directory and the issue is resolved.

    Did as you advised and low and behold issue gone. What the hell is the “mu-plugins” folder and must I have it? (sorry if that is a lame question)

    All of the “Must Use” plugin were not plugins that I can control via the dashboard, nor do I recall intentionally loading them.

    I am thinking that I am going to have to pick them apart to figure out what is doing it. The only plugin I can recall that ties back to them is the Domain mapping. Oh, and before I start fiddling with “must” plugins I will have to research what is safe for me to tool with.

    This is what I am running. Oh, and I had sent a support ticket to my host… they basically said it wasn’t them.

    Nope… hosting through psek.com

    I had a little bit of a back and forth with the folks at my hosting company (psek.com) who so graciously restored me back to the previous version of WP.

    @ipstenu My db prefix was pretty straight up and per-determined by my hosting company as they specialize in WPMU. According to them a basic db prefix doesn’t repair the later generated tables from plugins that didn’t have prefixes… grrrrr.

    The prefix, they are talking about, is WP option, if you want to change/add it you’ll need to modify your WP configuration and database tables manually. Better to wait for the new WP release/patch where this problem will be fixed.

    I am not holding my breath for the patch but fairly disappointed in WP development for I think the first time.

    @ipstenu
    I am running Akismet, Custom Post Type UI, Search Everything, WP Importer, and WP MU Domain Mapping

    Though my host just restored me to the previous version of WP. A momentary fix until some solutions can be road tested.

    Also will need to test with WP ecommerce / gold cart plugin.

    @jk3us
    Thank you very much.

    I had turned it on so that the error was showing without me having to take a bunch of screen shots and share it here. Thanks though.

    Oh, when I try to add a new user I get errors as well.. but then it adds the user.

    @esmi

    It wasn’t my intention to interrupt. I am having the same issue and wanted to add detail in order to facilitate problem solving. I will start my own thread and if I find a solution post it back here as a link in a comment.

    Arrrrghhh. I am getting this same error. I am running multisite and all this redo would be an extreme hassle for each of the domains. Has anybody else come up with other solutions?

    Oh, and to make it more fun, not all sites are returning the error. Just some. The only thing unique is the themes. though I do get the error on the dashboard of the network admin.
