In reply to: [Easy Login Styler - White Label Admin Login Page for WordPress] Abandoned?I think it is. I bought the LTD on this a few years back. Support was a bit sloppy back then with zero interest in fixing a bug. Now WP Debug has identified another issue (PHP Error). I tried writing to this guy but no response at all.
I’d say he has shrugged this off and left it behind like the pile of dog poo it is.
Time to drop this one and put it down to a mistake. Make sure you don’t buy anything else from Jeffrey Carandang.
Hello Yehudah,
We didn’t have to wait very long. I have received another email. Interestingly it comes from an email address which must be my hosting account.
The message is exactly the same. Is there any way to determine where this message has come from? As I mentioned earlier, I have 2 sites with this plugin and was thinking of adding it to more. But when an issue occurs it makes it hard to work out which site is generating it.
Thanks for your time with this.
Regards,
John. You getting this message because an error detected while delivered your email.
You are welcome to post a support issue.
The log to paste with your support issue:
Unable to connect via TLSHi Yehudah,
I understand the delay and appreciate your time.I have 2 sites running this plugin and have made the change just now to both of them. I’ve done both because I don’t know which one is reporting the message.
Since raising this job with you I have not seen the error message again and don’t know if/when it will next occur. Nor do I know what causes it. This makes it very difficult to test.
Thanks,
John.
Hi Yehudah,
Thank you for the quick response.
I only have 2 sites currently using this plugin and have set up a gmail account to handle the email sending for both.
but I don’t know which one this error is originating from.
Regards,
John.
Also note these observations. first is an end user <Gmorello> second comment is by the developer who thinks its a Proton problem.

As an example, here is the first image in my home slideshow, served by Jetpack Photon: https://i2.wp.com/pxpfoto.com/wp-content/uploads/home-0011.jpg?w=640. But, this is the original image which was the one being used before I installed Photon: https://pxpfoto.com/wp-content/uploads/home-0011.jpgkreatura

Okay, I understand now. LayerSlider uses your WordPress Media Library to upload and insert images, but it doesn’t have any control over it. By default, WP uses the full/default size of your uploaded images, but we can’t do anything about it if some other plugin actually override this behaviour. It isn’t related with LayerSlider and this problem will cause issues to other plugins as well. I would like to recommend you to check the settings of this JetPack Photon plugin, maybe there are some options to change this.Yes when I turn Photon ON it shrinks the size of images displayed in LayerSlider.
So I have to turn Photon OFF.
I will write to their support and see if they are interested.
HI Alin, thank you for this. I see there is a 25 token per user account. but as you say, other plugins may also be grabbing tokens?
I guess I need to consider setting up other Google Analytic accounts for my various customers.
Thanks again.
John.
Alin > Thank you for being so responsive. You certainly know your stuff!
Kenneth Feldman> did you log this with iThemes? If not I can, or maybe I should also do it so there is more than 1 voice. Also, you mentioned that you set up a GA account for each website. how come? I find that my one account makes it very easy to check up on all of my customers.
apologies for this being off topic.
Cheers,
John.
No cleanup tools. I did have a revision plugin tool but got rid of it as it caused some nasty conflicts with other plugins.
I am running W3 Total Cache and also have Jetpack installed.
I do have two other plugins that use Google products, these are the WP Google Translator and the WP Google Maps Pro.
neither of these require an API or other key from Google.
Your app does work fine for a couple of days then I get the error. Its working fine now after I re-authenticated with google.
Does this still sound like a plugin conflict?
Hello Alin,
Thank you for responding so quickly.
I think I have about 15 – 20 sites using the same GA account. Note the GA account will service 50 sites.
The error script you have requested is below.

John.

In reply to: [TW Recent Posts Widget] Categories aren't listedYes, I am using a premium theme from Elegant Themes (DIVI) and would really like to use this plugin but alas the Category selection is not working.
Its possible. I would check with your host support because changing from an earlier version of PHP to a later one might require some additional lines of code in your .htaccess file.
The error message is very vague. Do you have enough drive space?
Also, try changing your compression type in the settings.
I just discovered that this is caused by the theme I am using. When I use a different theme (2013-14) I get 6 additional images.
I had this same warning message and actually subscribed to BackupBuddy. just in case it was a problem with the plugin. The problem exists with BackupBuddy as well.
Their forums advise a known issue with LiteSpeed servers.
They recommend adding the following lines to the very top of your .htaccess file.
RewriteRule .* – [E=noabort:1]
RewriteRule .* – [E=noconntimeout:1]It worked for me, fingers crossed it will work for you also.
