In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] Empty homepageIf you have updated the plugin thet could broke things, but there are workarounds.
You can also try to add anything in the Custom AMP Editor section of the page, check the box “Use This Content as AMP Content” (than update the page and clear cache). In previous versions of the plugin I’ve got AMP content working only after adding to empty tags like or
to the Custom AMP Editor section of the page.
Simply things created with the previous version of the AMP Page Builder are not supported by the updateted version of AMP for WP.
One workaround is delete all items created in AMP Page Builder before the update and create them again after the update.
Another workaround is reinstall previous version of the plugin hoping that the issue will be fixed in future updates.
Probably the first workaround is better because there are chances that this bug will not be fixed soon.
I appreciate the intense development of the plugin, but I’d prefer updates that don’t break completely things requiring many hours of work to get things right again, which maybe are right only until the next update.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Conflict with Google Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP)Hi Lisa,
I confirm that the conflict is with AMP for WP, wich is standalone now, the Automattic AMP plugin is not even installed on my website.
I think that the AMP and non-AMP versions are not switched, but the first version cached is served both desktop and mobile browsers, and it depends on the type of the first visit after the cache is emptied.
However my hosting provider found a solution that seems working perfect. They have enabled for me a separate mobile cache: “LiteSpeed Cache Settings” page, then “Cache” -> “Cache Control Settings” -> “Cache Mobile” and toggled that to “On”, then hit “Save Changes”.
Hi Ahmed,
I was not expecting priority support, just a sign/reply.
Thanks,
I’ve granted admin access to the team and I’ve see a few logins by them, but then no more logins, no feedback and no reply to my e-mail reporting additional and more serious problems too.
Yes, I confirm the problem. The updates overwrite the bread-crumbs.php file deleting the translation.
The Translation Panel should include also this.

In reply to: [Yoast Duplicate Post] Wrong Admin LanguageYes Lopo. The AMP for WP plugin have not reached yet the 1.0 version, but the team is very helpful and I’m sure that they will fix it.
Thank you again!

In reply to: [Yoast Duplicate Post] Wrong Admin LanguageHi Lopo,
I’ve followed your advice to test to disable every other plugin and I’ve found that the problem is present only if the AMP for WP plugin is activated.
If AMP for WP is disabled Duplicate Post and Cerber Security & Antispam plugins both use the correct language. Now I’m going to contact the AMP for WP support for this problem.
Thank you for your help!

In reply to: [Yoast Duplicate Post] Wrong Admin LanguageHi Lopo,
Thank you for the quick reply!
I’m using WordPress 4.8.3. Duplicate Post is version 3.2., just installed today.
I’ve checked and found that an another plugin (WP Cerber Security & Antispam) is showing now everything in Italian while the admin language set in the profile is English. All the other plugins use English.
I’m not using any language plugin.
It’s very strange…
Yes Ahmed, I confirm.
Thank you!
Hi Ahmed,
I confirm that I’ve used the Category module exactly as you describe.
However it’s working only if I publish something also in the Custom AMP Editor (and Use this Content as AMP Content is checked).
After discovering that publishing something also in the Custom AMP Editor the Category module in the AMP Page Builder works it’s not a big problem for me. However there might be a bug and others may face the same problem.
My additional (not big) problem is about styling. I’d like to have the Recent Posts styling (Design Two) also for the Category module content styling that now is different.
My website is password protected because it’s in development, but if you want I can grant you access to look into the problem.
Thank you for your attention and the wonderful extension!
I found a workaround with the AMP Page Builder method. However it seems that the AMP Page Builder still has some strange behavior.
If you publish something (anything, even a non breaking space) also in the Custom AMP Editor section below the AMP Page Builder section the Category published in the AMP Page Builder will show up correctly.
Strangely what you publish in the Custom AMP Editor section will not show up on the page, but fortunately what you publish in the AMP Page Buider section will show up correctly. The present AMP Page Builder is still very new and probably this problem will be resolved with a new version of this wonderful plugin.
I’m still interested in alternative solutions, and it would be nice to have a solution where the published items of the selected Category have the same formatting of Recent Posts.
