Same here, exactly the same error messages.

I just deactivated all plugins except AdRotate and it still didn’t record clicks. I also logged out of admin to see if clicking around without being logged in had any effect – it didn’t, still no clicks tracked.

HI I keep coming back to my staging site to see if your plugin stats are now working and they are still not. I am now on plugin version 4.6.3. it’s a bit maddening as your plugin would be perfect if only the stats worked! I’m also scared to pay for the pro version in case that also does not work.

How can I find out where the problem lies? Can you tell me some steps to try to work out where it is going wrong?

Hi I had this problem too so I checked back at previous sites where I didn’t have this problem and saw that I was using version 1.31. I uninstalled the latest version, re-installed the old one and it now works fine (i.e. doesn’t cover the website but sits above it).

Just had the same problem (installed yoast, submitted sitemap to google webmaster, had error message “URL restricted by robots.txt”).
Took ages to figure out… realised that I’d installed wordpress in it’s own directory and so my robots.txt said this:

User-Agent: *
Disallow: /wp-content/plugins/

when it should have said this:

User-Agent: *
Disallow: /wordpress/wp-content/plugins/

Then i re-submitted my sitemap_index.xml in google webmaster and I have no errors…

I say not to timing out… kind of defeats the objective of the plugin i.e. that people actively consent to something?

shame but totally understandable… keeping plugins up to date with 3rd party apis must be a right pain.

Anyone know of any good replacement plugins?

Same here – it just stopped working… I have these setttings:

My settings mention I am currently “authenticated with Google”
I have a UID entered.
I have no Google Analytics Profile ID.
For authentication capability: Off
(also tried disabling curl and php streams but it made no difference).

Has something changed at google that means this plugin no longer works?

Me too… just been trying to find one so I can figure out if the update will break anything.

hi.. I worked it out:
I had to rename the index.php file that is in xampp/htdocs, then I made a folder with teh name of my website, copied all of the wordpress files into there. Then logged in to phpmyadmin on localhost and updated the sie url and home to https://localhost/sitename.

Now i kept getting 404s when trying to view any pag eother than the homepage. This is because of my .htaccess file having been copied from the previous location and now I was expecting it to work in localhost / sitename. So i opened the .htaccess file for my site and deleted all the wordpress code in there. Then I logge din to my admin area and visited th epermalnks apge and update the .htaccess. Then I was able to view all of my website. Hurrah!

So, back to the original problem. Having subfolders like this has made my xampp work lovely again. This implies that the reason the pages were taking 4 minutes each to load is something to do with virtual hosting.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to mend my setup so I can go back to virtual hosting? At least now I can work so many thanks Esmi… just want to know what was going on before if possible.

It seems to be smething to do with the index.php page that is in localhost/htdocs. It has this code in it which forces everything to redirect to localhost/xampp:

How can I change it to stop re-directing? Changin the folder /xampp/ doens’t help as it just redirects to a new folder. I want it to use my current folder…

Hi I’ve moved my website folder into xampp/htpdocs, and I’ve removed references to virtual hosting in httpd-vhosts.conf AND hosts files… changed the options in wordpress so the new website home is https://localhost/sitename/, same for siteurl.

When i go to https://localhost/sitename/ I see the homepage of the site fine. However when I click on any links i just get redirected to https://localhost/xampp/ i.e. I can’t navigate the site.

Must be something I’ve not done properly. CAn you help?
