Did you sort this out in the end? I’ve been using CMSpress for a while, but recently CPT archives seem to have stopped working, instead it just loads the standard blog page…

Sounds like a front end CSS issue – what theme are you using and what site is it on?

The theme may be using the jQuery library, and then the plugin may load it in again incorrectly.

Check your source code to see if it has been loaded in twice, if so – this may cause errors

It looks as though it is your Google analytics code, but you haven’t wrapped it in <script type=”text/javascript”></script> tags

Have you got any plugins installed that are used only in the posts section?

Does your “given plugin” use jquery, or some sort of Javascript library?

If your menu uses a library as well, then it may be loading the same library twice and conflicting?

There a couple of ways you could approach this:

1. Use custom fields for each column
2. Use a plugin to make nice custom fields, I prefer to use Verve Meta Boxes
3. Use sub-pages of the home page for each column, and use a custom loop to loop through them on your homepage template

Any of the above would work fine, however, I would probably go with option 2 or 3!
