Thanks for your response, but the first thing i did after i downloaded this plugin was match threshold adjustment (and now it is “1”), it does affect the related posts section but it doesn’t affect the principle that this section shows only posts that were piublished earlier.

I have a post for example “how to drive a car” published today and “how ride a bicycle”, published yesterday related post for “how to drive a car” is “how ride a bicycle”, but there are no related posts for “how ride a bicycle” because it was made earlier than “how ride a car”.

I found a solution empirically. Searched in the internet for this problem it’s not very common: most problems with sending emails are solved by reseting spam filters or solving hosting problems but not mine.

Besides, it works well (sending email) if user subscribes without commenting, that’s strange too, so i thought problem is not with plugin itself.

So i thought of the conflict with wordpress comment management system.

SO HERE IS THE SOLUTION:

when you recieve comment and the system asks you to apрrove it. DON’T use APPROVE&ANSWER button (don’t know how this button is called exaсtly in English – have russian version of WP, but i think you understand what i mean)

SECOND ANSWER
NOT THE SAME TIME!

It worked well for me using WP 3.3.2

but it DOES work if email is sending to user who subscribed WITHOUT commenting.

but this plugin is the best among subscribe plugins wish could use it

Same Problem. I am, using 3.3.2 version of WP. My junk/spam mail is empty, checked several times.
Can’t find any subscribe to comments plugin that will work for me
