Hi @newguy321123 ,
Appreciate you asking us, sorry to disappoint in this case.
We don’t have subscription oriented features in our own plugin as most basic needs can be covered with other plugins. There seem to be several plugins or ways to automatically send a reminder email before expiry of a subscription.
Quick examples:
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/subscriptions/renewal-process/
“Customer Renewal Invoice is emailed to the customer to prompt them to log in and pay to renew subscription. After customer has completed payment, they receive the Processing/Completed Renewal Order email, and New Renewal Order email is sent to Store Manager”We do have a bitcoin invoice payment feature (part of our API, not the plugin) which allows creating payment URLs which can be easily shared by email or social messaging (or paper :).
It might be possible to edit the subscription payment reminder email and insert such a bitcoin invoice payment link (opens a TripleA-hosted payment page, and can redirect back to the merchant site after payment). At the moment we don’t have the bandwidth to handle that, but does this sound like it could be a solution (for future needs) ?

Hi @graf1n, it is not part for the plugin however we might be able to help with that but from our end.
Please email us at [email protected] (and let us know it’s @graf1n emailing us) with your website information.- This reply was modified 4 years, 10 months ago by Triple-A.io.
Hi,
Before attempting to answer, could you share (in private, via email at [email protected]) your website? So that we can see what current setup you have?If you haven’t tried out the plugin, could you tell us if you’d choose bitcoin settlement then (instead of bitcoin to local currency settlement) ?
Regards,
TripleA teamHi @minati88 ,
Sorry to hear that you received customer complaints due to our plugin! Our exchange rate refresh rate interval was a little high, due to these times of high volatility we will update and reduce that interval. This will allow closer tracking of the exchange rate.
However, please note: the BTC/USD exchange rate can sometimes vary depending on the exchange.
https://www.investopedia.com/news/why-price-bitcoin-different-around-world/
https://www.cnbc.com/2017/12/12/why-bitcoin-prices-are-different-on-each-exchange.htmlAs the electrum wallet’s exchange rate data is likely to come from different sources than ours, this adds to the exchange rate discrepancy noticed by your users.
So please share with your users:
– we will make internal improvements to try and remediate this as much as possible,
– however discrepancies may still be seen are can be explained by the linked articles.Hope this helps? I’ll mark this as resolved for now (the internal fix should already have been applied, if not it will happen today).
Feel free to re-open if this did not sufficiently address your concerns.Regards,

In reply to: [Cryptocurrency Payment Gateway for WooCommerce] Order not receivedHi @kitefreakk
Apologies for the problems you seem to encounter.Indeed, currently we do the same as Stripe and Paypal plugins:
– user fills in his info,
– user selects payment method (in this case, Bitcoin),
– user makes a payment,
– once payment is detected, the order is placed (the “order now” or equivalent button is triggered programmatically).(By the way, if too little is paid, for any reason, the order is still placed, so that there would be a proof and trace of this in the system.)
We received similar complaint once before, but it has been a long time. So this issue of an order not being placed seems to happen rarely. (Likely due to browser plugins breaking some javascript? we haven’t been able to replicate the problem ourselves.)
Even if this type of problem happens rarely, it’s very bad user experience (for customer and/or merchant). We understand that.
As a plugin update is currently work-in-progress, we will look into this “create order first, then take payment” approach and plan implementation accordingly. So there won’t be a solution right away, I’m sorry to say, but we will add this onto our roadmap for the next plugin update.
Maybe a temporary solution would be to add a message to some of the configurable checkout text in WooCommerce, to add a warning “Please make sure you do not close the window after payment, before the order has been placed”. Not great, i admit.

In reply to: [Cryptocurrency Payment Gateway for WooCommerce] Great, worked like a charm.Hi Fernando, glad our plugin answered your need and worked as expected.
We could improve the settings form by detecting 1.. and 3… addresses and warning the user about this. Noted!
As for ypub and zpub addresses, these are supported already. If you had any trouble, we can continue this conversation in a support ticket (so that others benefit from it too).

In reply to: [GoUrl Bitcoin Payment Gateway & Paid Downloads & Membership] A question(Just beware: if everyone sending you money sends it to the same address.. they could copy-paste it into a blockchain explorer and view your entire transaction history for that address.)

In reply to: [GoUrl Bitcoin Payment Gateway & Paid Downloads & Membership] A questionJust noticed your question, sharing my 2 cents ??
If you enter a bitcoin address… that address needs to be used.
Unique addresses are usually generated from your public key.Yes, a single address can be used many times. The address remains valid and could receive unlimited number of transactions over time.

In reply to: [Cryptocurrency Payment Gateway for WooCommerce] Bitcoin not receive?Hi Minati88,
I will do my best help you figure out what is going on.
You mention “as admin it works”, I suppose the money did arrive well then.
If you inserted your Electrum master public key, all payment addresses generated belong to your wallet and any bitcoin paid by a user will be sent straight to your wallet. You could enter the address you sent money to for testing into a blockchain explorer for 3rd party confirmation.“as a customer, have used up an order … Payment process failed”
I’m not sure I understand the flow here.
– can you either explain a bit more in detail here the steps you did,
– or reach me through our [email protected] email ?By support email, I’ll be able to ask for your account email or pulic key, to dig out debugging info based on what we see in our logs, for your account.
If your site/page is publicly accessible, please share that with us too.
P.S.: just a thought:
If you tested an order payment of value X BTC, and just wanted to make a quick test and paid a minimal amount, less than X BTC, then the order (or order payment) would be marked as failed.
(But our bitcoin payment form would detect that you paid too litle and give you time to pay the missing remaining amount.. )Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Bootstrap Blocks] not working with gutenberg pluginHi, when will your fix be out?
Any good payment gateway/payment plugin would update order statuses within WooCommerce. WFCM surely uses WooCommerce orders’ status?
(I’m curious, it would be fast to just try it out no?)

In reply to: [Cryptocurrency Payment Gateway for WooCommerce] Wonderful plugin!Glad our plugin fits your needs. It’s still relatively new, we’ll add more options in 2020 but we aim to keep it as simple and easy to use.
Good luck with your WooCommerce site!Hi, good question. Yes it works just as well with USD as with EUR or any other currency.
