In reply to: [Event List] events 4.1 messes with side barI went back to Events list 4.0 and all was good. The newest version hangs off the side of the page on twentytwelve theme.

In reply to: Get archived/old version of pluginsThat did it thank you kindly.
After a few false closings ?? I’m closing this for good as the original question was clearly addressed. Thank you for your help Tom.
Yeah this has me stumped. I think when I checked it last night it looked good and then this morning not so much. I don’t think it is a metaslider problem. I deleted those lines of code and no change. No red errors on that page but I do get errors in the admin pages as seen below:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/61803503/Errors/errors1.PNG
and here’s a screen shot of the metaslider set up.

This sounds to me to be some kind of server issue. I contacted my server guy and told him of the problem. What are your thoughts? Is it likely server related or a meta slider thing? THe only thing I altered after this was updating the Events List plugin (4.0 to 4.1):

Not sure if plugins can interfere with each other.
Yes thank you. Here are two screen shots from Chrome:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/61803503/Errors/zoom2.PNGThis problem occurs on chrome, firefox and explorer.
You’re going to hate me. That fixed the caption but some of the pictures have now been re-sized. You weren’t kidding that this problem is a bit complex.
My apologies.
I did this and checked on IE, Firefox and Chrome and all appear as expected. Thank you for you help in this matter. Much appreciated!
Tom, that resolved it for firefox but now it’s short on Chrome, explorer. I’m not a programmer but is there an if/else sort of way to detect the browser to do this?
Perfect. That worked. Thank you so much.
It appears the css file has updated but the problem is not fixed. Let’s give it a bit more time.
Yes. Hmm let’s give it time as I’m doing it remotely through FTP. I’ll keep you posted.
Thanks for the reply Tom. I the temporary fix you suggested above by adding:
#metaslider_container_623 .cs-title { width: 228px; } #metaslider_container_327 .cs-title { width: 600px; }
to a child theme of twentytwelve but this did not appear to have an effect.

In reply to: [Visual Form Builder] Retrieve formsOk this needs to be closed then. Lesson learned, be more careful and read.

In reply to: [Visual Form Builder] Retrieve formsI deleted the plugin by going to wordpress plugins, deactivating and then deleting (I thought I was deleting another unused form builder). When I reinstall the forms do not appear. Is there a directory in my backup I could go to retrieve the forms and somehow reupload them?
PS if I had of deleted using FTP delete I’d have been OK (which I didn’t) is that what you’re saying?

In reply to: [Event List] Remove Events Widget from Events PageI was attempting to remove just the events widget but settled for removing all. Removing just the Events widget is preferable if possible.
Thank you.
