The .htaccess code isn’t there. it updates automatically becuase I have made the .htaccess file writable. and yes the permalinks option is ON in the photopress settings. album token is gallery

I’ve found out something very weird. When I go to my permalinks options and if I choose either “Date & name based” or “numeric” the 1-p.com/haute/gallery works. but if I use “custom” (/%postname/), then 1-p.com/haute/gallery will not work.

i’ve run thru it again. It still doesn’t work. i have 2.0.3 and ?pp_album=main is the only one that works even though i have applied permalinks. my permalinks option is custom >> %postname%

21st project is correct. I have that info on the css…I just need to find out how to insert it into one of my pages

um. actually, never mind. I decided to use something else. It’s off the site now

links = blogroll. i forgot to clear it up. i do want the blogroll to show on every page, so i can’t remove the conditionals from the sidebar code.

I’m using Opera.And I don’t think you get my point, Yosemite. I want the links to show in EVERY page in my site – regardless if it is the front page (which it shows now) or a wordpress page (it doesn’t show there)

If you validate your site, there wil be more chances that it will look the best possible result in most browsers. Though having a valid website doesn’t exactly mean perfect browser compatibility, it is the next best solution to the browser compatibility issue.

some things though: in XHTML, all tags and attributes need to be in lowercase. You will find that putting in lowercase your tags will decrease the errors in your site. Also, you only define ID once, as it states in the validation. If you need the styles defined in the CSS more than once use the attribute class, not ID
