How many roles can you see in that drop down box? Administrator is one of the defaults on my WP template (Kubric default). I’m also using Mozilla Firefox as my browser. You can delete any cuurent users or start again and set it up the way you want. Follow the above steps, making sure you set your role as you require. That should add the new user to the “Post Author” drop-down menu, bottom right of your “Write Post” open window. The other thing to say is it may not refresh/reset to your desired settings, unless you save and log out, then log back in again (with your new username and password). Could be a cache problem. Clear your cookies/cache after exit, then log back in. Otherwise it could be down to the template you’re using. If it’s not a pain, change your template to Kubric Default to test. Once you’ve launched the app, click on “Users” (top right on tab), then click on “Add User”. Type your name as you want it to appear. Fill out the rest of the form. Further down you have the option of setting your status as Author, Contributor, Subscriber, etc.

You can also now go back to any previous posts and in the drop down menu where it shows “admin”, you can now toggle to select your name, which will then update your original posts ??
