I too am having the same problem. After installing the plugin insert media no longer works. I disabled all other plugins and this is the only one that creates the issue.
To insert media I must deactivate Acronix FAQ plugin and then activate again once I am done.
I am working with both current versions of WordPress and the theme Enfold.
