I was never able to resolve this. I actually contacted the referring site, and he said he think he was blacklisted by WordPress or something because his referrals don’t show on any WordPress stats anymore.

Google Analytics shows his referrals, but not Jetpack stats.

I turned off all plugins, and turned them back on one by one. It appears that there was some sort of conflict with “Google Authorship for multiple authors” that was breaking the comment box. Not sure why, but with it deactivated, comments are working again.

After clicking around a bit, it appears that comments are working on pages, but not on posts.

Web host did a scan of the server, and everything came back clean. They have a newer backup than I do, do they are restoring the site for me to an earlier time.

Anybody have any ideas? I’m thinking I may have something broken in my header, but I’m not experienced enough to know what it could be.

I played with this some last night thinking it could have been something with my .htaccess file and a security plugin I was using, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
