I thought somebody was going to say ‘we can’t have everything in the core’, but I think this would be a pretty small (but very cool) feature. Think about it, themes are being included, why not take it the tiny step further and add admin themes? You wouldn’t even need to do anything beyond swtiching css files. T’would be awesome, that’s all I’m saying.

Has anyone thought of offering a way to ‘theme’ the admin interface? I know it’s easy to do manually, but having a ‘tab’ or whatever devoted to it within the admin screen (like the new ‘presentation’ tab) would probably increase the use. Perhaps this is already being done (I didn’t check), but I think it would be a cool feature that would be pretty easy to add.

Photostack has an admin interface that lets you upload and change descriptions etc without ftp or text files, you should install it and try it out – the docs are a bit out of date.

How to you delete a user?

I’d like to second that request. I’m about to try and do this through phpmyadmin, but I was looking all over WP to find out how to do this.

Shouldn’t there be an option to change this from within the program? It seems like a necessary step for moving your site over from MT.

I did change that stuff. It’s only the web based editing that doesn’t seem to work.

and such for all but the comments. It seems wordpress doesn’t know that index.php and .htaccess are not in the root wp dir?

While this is an easy solution, it would be nice to have an option in the “Settings for RSS/RDF Feeds, Track/ping-backs” area to define where your feed is located. That way people could more easily move over to WordPress.
