I’m also having this same issue. This often occurs with MailPoet updates and clearing the browser cache fixes the problem. But this time I have cleared all caches and tried different browsers with no result.

Just to confirm that the fix suggested by Wh1sp3r also worked for me.

I’ll give that a try to see if it fixes the problem on my project. I read a description of the problem and a solution at https://www.infinitedreamers.co.uk/wordpress-cant-add-text-before-shortcode/, but it’s a bit beyond my technical abilities.

I’m using version 3.8.1

I’ve applied the update and the date settings work in the editor, but the map view from the shortcode shows today’s date for arrival and departure.
